Shyam Chhabria joins ET Now as head of branded content

Chhabria's mandate is to create stronger relationships with prospective clients by designing properties that address client needs and make for interesting viewing.

ET Now, the 24-hour English business news channel from the Times Television Network stable, has brought on board Shyam Chhabria as head of branded content.

Based in Mumbai, he will report to Hemant Arora, chief sales officer, Times Television Network.

Chhabria's mandate will be to create stronger relationships with prospective clients by designing properties that address client needs and make for interesting viewing.

Speaking on the appointment, Arora says, "With his experience in creating business units and content supported by advertisers, he will add tremendous value to the branded solutions offered by ET Now."

Commenting on his new role, Chhabria says, "Driving brand solutions for television, both in terms of content and sales, is something I am very passionate about and ET Now is a perfect platform to connect brands with evolved Indian audiences."

With more than 14 years of experience in sales and marketing, Chhabria has worked with various companies like NDTV Media, Balaji Telefilms, and Seventy EMG.
