Ultraviolet Digital to handle digital duties for Grand Kerala Shopping Festival

The agency will oversee the brand's media strategy and planning across various digital and interactive channels.

Ultraviolet Digital Solutions, a part of the Crayons Communications Group, has bagged the digital account of the fifth edition of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF). The agency plans to leverage internet giants such as Google, Facebook and Twitter, to reach out to the audience and spread awareness about the festival.

The shopping festival, which is organised by Kerala Tourism, will leverage the digital medium for the first time in five years. Commenting on the development, Gautam Mehra, chief operating officer, Ultraviolet Digital Solutions, says, "This is the first time that the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival has decided to use the digital medium. We will use the online medium in a manner that synergises with the offline advertising mandate of GKSF."

The agency plans to extensively use live streaming, blogging and tweeting to spread awareness and gather interest around the 46-day festival, which kicks off in Kochi on December 1.

The client list of Ultraviolet Digital Solutions includes Kaya Skin Clinic, Fortis and Incredible India, among others.
