Hungama appoints Nalin Gagrani as head, consumer business

Gagrani will be responsible for the direct-to-consumer business, including Hungama.com, and all its affiliates.

Hungama Digital Media Entertainment has appointed Nalin Gagrani as head of its consumer business. In his new role, Gagrani will be responsible for the direct-to-consumer business, including Hungama.com, and all its affiliates, products, CRM, Alliances, and the Hungama retail business.

Gagrani, an engineer by qualification, with a post-graduate degree in management from NMIMS, has over 18 years of experience across sectors like telecom, airlines, retail and beverages, and was the head of marketing at Aircel, Mumbai, and Maharashtra circle.

He has also worked in leadership positions in organisations such as Kingfisher, Pantaloons, Vodafone Essar, and Jet Airways.

Commenting on his new role, Gagrani says, "I look forward to apply my experience across various functions and sectors."

Gagrani, will also lead the marketing function at Hungama with special focus on brand building and communication for consumers, trade, partners, mobile, online and social media marketing, insights and research, as well as corporate communications.
