Scarecrow Communications bags Pentair water solutions

Pentair Water solutions has appointed Scarecrow Communications as its advertising partner. The agency's Delhi office will handle this business.

Pentair is a USA based global player in water solutions and purification. Pentair Water offers water and waste management systems, water flow (pumping) and swimming pool solutions at airports and five-star hotels across the country.

Mukund Vasudevan, managing director and country head, tells afaqs, "Scarecrow's mandate isn't only to build the brand but also increase overall awareness for water-related issues."

Anindya Banerjee, ECD Delhi thinks of water solutions as an interesting, yet challenging category especially in the Indian context.

Manish Bhatt, founder and director, Scarecrow Communications opines that although Pentair is a global brand in India, it is at a nascent stage as far as branding is concerned. "It is almost like starting from scratch. So there is no baggage. So we can roll out the brand experience in India with maximum freedom."

This is third win in a month's time for Scarecrow, after bagging a part of DLF project and the whole of Anchor Panasonic business.
