Times Television Network promotes Avinash Kaul and Ajay Trigunayat

Times Television Network has enhanced the responsibilities of two of its senior personnel -- Avinash Kaul and Ajay Trigunayat.

They will continue to report to Sunil Lulla, managing director and CEO, Times Television Network.

Prior to this, Kaul was CEO for Zoom; Trigunayat was channel head for Movies Now.

Announcing the new organisational focus, Sunil Lulla says in an official communique, "The year 2011 has been one of significant growth for Times Television Network (TTN). As the channels consolidate their respective positions, they also offer opportunities for talent to develop. Avinash Kaul and Ajay Trigunayat will both bring new ideas, energy and passion for TTN's ambitious growth agenda."

Kaul brings to the network 13 years of experience in the television business. He started his career as a media planner with HTA Fulcrum, and subsequently moved to Discovery Communications and STAR India. This was followed by NDTV Media, where he handled diverse portfolios in operations and marketing, and headed its consulting division.

Trigunayat, meanwhile, had been in West Asia in an entrepreneurial capacity before he joined Times Television Network. He was also the business head of the Zee English channels bouquet, where he built brands and strategies for Lintas, Contract, and Rediffusion, and also handled sales with Pepsi.
