The app enables users to use their keyboards to design musical Zoozoo greetings for Christmas.
Spreading the cheer this festive season, Vodafone India has launched the 'Zoozoo X'mas Melodies' app for Facebook users. The app aims to tap the popularity of the Vodafone mascots and focusses on the social media platform. The company claims to have more than 2.5 million fans of its mascots.
With this app, Vodafone intends to let Zoozoo fans celebrate Christmas the Zoozoo way.
The Zoozoos will help users send personalised greetings to friends and family across the world. "With the world going digital, we are confident that this application will be quite popular amongst the millions of Zoozoo and Vodafone fans on Facebook," adds Aggarwal.
The app runs in a unique way. Zoozoos, carrying special instruments and exuding the Christmas spirit, invite fans to join them in making cheerful melodies. Fans can select Christmas carols sung by the Zoozoos and add sounds via their keyboards. To add to the fun quotient, users can make their Zoozoos slam snowballs on an odd-shaped gong, shake hips while wearing a tambourine, or even spew bubbles from a Zoozoo-esqe tuba!
The app has been created by OgilvyOne Worldwide, Vodafone's digital agency, and can be accessed through the company's website, www.vodafone.in, and the Zoozoo page on Facebook.
