Life OK hits the 100 GRP mark

The channel has moved up from the 98 GRPs that it had scored in the previous week, while its relative share has moved up from 7.4 per cent to 7.8 per cent.

Life OK, the new face of STAR One, which was re-launched on December 18, has hit the 100 GRP mark in the second week of 2012, consistently occupying the sixth position in the Hindi GEC hierarchy.

The channel has moved up from the 98 GRPs that it had scored in the previous week, while its relative share has moved up from 7.4 per cent to 7.8 per cent.

Overall, according to the latest data from TAM (C&S 4+, HSM), Star Plus still rules the roost with 287 GRPs and 22.3 per cent market share. In the previous week, Star Plus had clocked 311 GRPs, while its market share stood at 23.4 per cent.

Sony continues to be in the No. 2 slot, despite a fall in its GRP grade and channel share. While its GRPs have moved down from 236 points to 226 points, its channel share has moved down from 17.7 per cent, to 17.5 per cent.

Colors, at No. 3, has garnered 208 points for the week, and is down from the 213 points that it had earned in the previous week. Its relative share, however, has moved up from 16 per cent to 16.1 per cent.

Meanwhile, Zee TV, which continues to be at No. 4, has lost 4 points to end the week with 180 GRPs. Its relative channel share, however, moved up from 13.8 per cent to 14 per cent.

SAB TV is at No. 5, with a share of 10.1 per cent (9.4 per cent in the previous week). Its GRPs have moved up from 124 points to 130 points.

Imagine TV is at No. 7 with a share of 4.5 per cent, as compared to 4.8 per cent in the previous week; it has garnered 58 GRPs as opposed to 64 GRPs in Week 1.

Sahara One is at No. 8 with 3 per cent share, as compared to 3.1 per cent in Week 1, while its GRPs have fallen from 42 to 38 this week.

STAR Utsav is at No. 9 with 2.8 per cent share, as compared to 2.9 per cent in Week 1, while its GRPs have fallen from 38 to 37 this week.

DD1, with 1.2 per cent share (1 per cent in the previous week) and 16 GRPs (13 points in the previous week), is at No. 10.

Zee Smile follows next with 5 GRPs, and 0.4 per cent channel share.

Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 5.99, followed by Saathiya Saath Nibhana and Balika Vadhu, with TVRs of 5.81 and 4.91, respectively.

The fourth most-watched programme is C.I.D., with 4.7 TVR.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (4.3 TVR) and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (4.07 TVR) follow next.

Crime Patrol, Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma and Pratigya are also part of the Top 10 list.
