Rajiv Sabnis, erstwhile president, DDB India, will now be moved to head the western operations for the agency. He will be based in Mumbai. His earlier mandate was to manage both the Mumbai and Delhi offices of the agency.

Brand David's Vandana Das has been roped in to head Mudra's northern operations. She will function out of Mudra's Delhi office. Prior to this, Das was heading the Delhi office for Brand David.

Ranji Cherian, executive vice-president and head, Mudra South, will continue to head the southern operations for the Mudra Group.

Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to afaqs! under conditions of anonymity. However, when contacted, Madhukar Kamath, group CEO and managing director, Mudra Group, refrained from commenting on any such development.

The group currently has three agencies under it including DDB, Mudra, and Mudra Max. Ignite Mudra was rolled back into Mudra to become Mudra Ahmedabad.

All the multiple offerings under Mudra Max are clubbed within four buckets -- media, OOH, experiential, and retail.

Recently, Sandip Vij, CEO, DDB India, and chief knowledge officer and executive director, DDB Mudra Group, announced his plans to bid farewell to the organisation to pursue his dream in the online media space.

Also, a few days ago, the DDB Mudra Group announced the appointment of Sonal Dabral as chairman and chief creative officer.
