Avantgarde, the Munich-based experiential marketing and communications agency, is all set to open its 12th international office in New Delhi, India. With this development, the agency launches its operations in India for the first time, although it has handled projects such as the Audi A7 launch in India from its Dubai office.
Avantgarde's global CEO and founder Martin Schnaack and managing director of Avantgarde India, Isabelle-Jasmin Roth, will introduce the company in India on February 14.
In addition to its offices in London, Paris, Vienna, and West Asia, the opening of Avantgarde India will complete the company's BRIC strategy after the launch of offices in Brasil, Russia, and China. The completion of Avantgarde's presence in all BRIC states is an effort towards ensuring the agency's commitment to global engagement with target groups and brands, and create outstanding experiences in its mission of 'creating fans'.
"Avantgarde strongly believes in the fast and sustainably growing Indian market," says Schnaack. "We see great opportunities for us, which adds perfectly to our dynamic global expansion."
In 2010, Avantgarde executed events for Audi and Ray Ban in India, although full-fledged operations in the country are setting in only now.
India is an important market for Avantgarde, the rationale being that with 8 per cent domestic product growth, along with half the country's population below 25 years, India is set to be an innovation hub, setting trends for the future. The country has a dominant presence not just in the BRIC markets, but also globally.
Roth states in an official communiqué, "India has become a leader in the global business world. The market has great potential, and is of prime importance to us."
