Big CBS Networks appoints Yashraj Rao as national sales head for Love and Spark

As part of the new mandate, Rao's responsibility will be to grow sales, lead the team across the country, grow client base and build revenues for the channels.

Speaking on the appointment, Rally says in an official communiqué, "Yashraj's sound background across the dotcom and insurance sectors, along with his skill sets, combined with his ability to listen to prospects' needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements, are what will work in his favour to lead the team for further growth."

Earlier, Rao was associate vice-president, group sales, HDFC Life.

Rao holds a PGDBM from Birla Institute of Management. He began his career with Monster.com as corporate relationship manager, before moving into the life insurance industry as assistant manager in the corporate sales portfolio at Aviva Life Insurance. From there, he moved to HDFC Life as relationship manager, group sales.
