Siddharth Kelkar joins Ozone Media as AVP, sales

Kelkar recently quit as the head of advergames and digital solutions at Zapak, Reliance ADA group's gaming arm.

Siddharth Kelkar, who recently quit as head of advergames and digital solutions at Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd, Reliance ADA Group's gaming company, after a five-year stint, has joined digital advertising agency Ozone Media as associate vice-president, sales.

Kelkar, who has more than 11 years of experience, will be responsible for sales of various business verticals, specifically the mobile platform, nationally. He will report to Sanjay Vasudeva, senior vice-president, sales, who joined Ozone recently.

Confirming the news to afaqs!, Kelkar says, "This is the digital era and this is where all the action is! The digital space in India is growing disproportionately and Ozone Media, with its expertise in this space, provides clients with in-depth campaign solutions catering to specific needs."

Vasudeva says, "Bringing Kelkar on board is part of our initiative to strengthen the team and explore and build business specifically around the mobile ecosystem. His knowledge of the market and domain will help us get a stronghold in this growing market."

At Zapak, Kelkar led the advergaming vertical, which was responsible for games that are developed for a particular brand campaign or product. He was also responsible for providing 360-degree comprehensive digital (web and mobile) solutions to clients/advertisers for brand campaigns.

Earlier, he was heading the West and East region sales for online media, social media, activation, and advergaming at Zapak.

Kelkar started his career in the ad sales field with Bennett, Coleman & Co. in 2001. He has also worked with Hindustan Times and the Network18 Group.
