NRHM looks to empanel media planning agencies in Mumbai

National Rural Health Mission, Office of State Health Society, Government of Maharashtra looks to empanel media management agencies for a period of one year.

National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) looks to empanel media planning agencies in Mumbai. Although the agencies will be empanelled for a period of one year, there will be a provision for an extension to two years.

A spokesperson of NRHM has confirmed the news to afaqs!. The approximate spend on the media could not ascertained at the time of filing this report. However, it is learnt that the government body intends to use electronic, print and outdoor media platforms to spread awareness about its initiatives.

The National Rural Health Mission seeks to provide effective healthcare to the rural population throughout the country. The body, which is under the Office of State Health Society, Government of Maharashtra, seeks to place awareness campaigns in various media on its plans, special days dedicated to spreading health awareness and nutrition.

Earlier, there were six agencies empanelled with NRHM and the media duties were divided amongst these agencies for different media. This time, NRHM plans to empanel a larger number of agencies.
