Aditya Someswarao, head, marketing and sales, V6 News, notes that Andhra Pradesh is chiefly skewed towards very high brand-consumption of products and services. Therefore, most of the FMCG products, telecom services and automobiles spend aggressively on television in this state.

When quizzed on why the channel chose to partner with Fourth Dimension Media Solutions, Someswarao says, "Fourth Dimension Media Solutions has a very strong experience in ad sales, particularly in news television. Also, it has a very thorough knowledge of the overall South industry. Therefore, it made for a very logical partnership."

According to sources close to the development, the channel expects to generate an estimated Rs 10 crore in ad revenues by March, 2013 through this partnership. However, Someswarao declines to confirm or comment on further financial details.
