Vizeum to handle Cholamandalam Finance's media mandate
The agency's work for other brands of the Murugappa Group helped it bag the business, which will be handled by its Chennai branch.
The financial services arm of the Murugappa Group, Cholamandalam Finance, has awarded its media mandate to Aegis Media's Vizeum India. The development adds to the list of the agency's recent major wins, Fox Star Studios being the latest reported one.
The financial services solution provider offers vehicle finance, business finance, home equity loans, stock broking and distribution of financial products.
He tells afaqs! that while the agency's previous work for the group did help, the group is diverse and the strategy, too, needs to be different.
"We are all about business-driven tangible ideas, which will provide further business growth," says Yesudas.
Other brands within the Murugappa Group handled by Vizeum are TI Cycles and BSA Motors.
The business will be handled out of the Vizeum's Chennai branch. The account size of Cholamandalam Finance could not be ascertained.
Vizeum India is the second media specialist brand from Aegis Media, the UK-based marketing and communications group, which also holds the media specialist Carat brand. The agency currently operates across 55 countries.
