MediaVest Worldwide wins media duties of Ramdev Food

MediaVest Worldwide has been awarded the media duties of Ramdev Food Products. The agency will handle the media planning and buying duties for Ramdev Chilly Powder and Ramdev Asafoetida brands. The new business will be managed by the Mumbai office of the agency.

According to industry estimates, the size of the account is pegged at Rs 10 crore. The incumbent on this account was MudraMax.

Confirming MediaVest's appointment, Pradip Patel, director, Ramdev Food Products, says, "We were impressed by MediaVest's strategic approach and the team was extremely focused and efficient with its ideas. We are certain that our alliance with MediaVest will help us break clutter and maintain a leadership position in the spices category."

For the record, Ramdev Foods is a leading producer of spices and masala mixes since 1965 and offers a range of premium Indian spices.
