Sera Bangali honours stars of Bengal
The winners for the latest edition of Sera Bangali were selected following an in-depth research made by the MCCS editorial team, the channel claims.
In an attempt to acknowledge the people who have brought Bengal into the limelight, Sera Bangali felicitates eminent personalities with honours across a plethora of categories such as art, film, music, education, business, science, sports and lifetime achievement. It was the seventh edition of the show and was telecast on May 11 on STAR Anondo.
The event was aired live and the channel expects to reach out to more than 50 lakh people of West Bengal and even outside through it.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Venkatramani, CEO, MCCS, shared, "We have dedicated ourselves to the recognition and felicitation of those personalities who have made Bengal proud and continue to do so. Sera Bangali is a true effort to recognise those successful Bengalis who not only have excelled in their respective fields but have also helped to put Bengalis in the global arena."
According to STAR Anondo, Sera Bangali is the most aspired event in the east and therefore, every year garners a huge market share amongst TV audiences.
