Digital media agency Magnon Solutions has won the social media account of Haier Appliances. Magnon has been handling the brand's corporate website since 2008. There was no pitch held for this account.
The agency will handle the social media services for Haier Appliances, with an aim to strengthen consumer interaction and create a face for the brand using social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
Talking about the insight behind choosing Magnon Solutions, Shanta Roy Sanjeev, head, marketing, Haier India, says, "The consumer durable market in India is extremely competitive. To retain our edge, we need to listen to our customers and increasingly connect with them by opening new customer touch points. This becomes a business critical feature for a market as huge as ours. Magnon was a more obvious choice for us, not just because of the years of experience but also the full spectrum digital experience that it offers."
For the record, Magnon recently bagged the social media account of Luminous Technologies.
