Contract Advertising wins creative mandate of Crompton Greaves

Contract Advertising has won the creative mandate of electric equipment manufacturer Crompton Greaves. The business will be managed out of the agency's Mumbai office. AMC Communications was the incumbent on the account.

While the exact spend on the media for the financial year could not be ascertained, sources peg the figure at about Rs 50 crore.

A campaign utilising multiple media platforms is to be launched in the month of July.

A spokesperson from Crompton Greaves has confirmed the news to afaqs!.

Earlier, in April, Madison Media Sigma, a unit of Madison Media, had bagged the media planning and buying duties of engineering company Crompton Greaves. The company is understood to have awarded the mandate to Madison after evaluating a few other agencies' credentials.

In 2009, Crompton Greaves had adopted a new logo. Today, the logo sports two equal forces, 'C' and 'G', which unite to create a harmonious 'CG' - illustrating a stronger form - projecting the company as a global player.
