Interactive Avenues bags digital account for Zee Network

Following a multi-agency pitch, the agency has bagged the digital and social media marketing duties for the network's Hindi GEC, Zee TV and Hindi movie channel, Zee Cinema.

Interactive Avenues has won the digital account for Zee Network, following a multi-agency pitch. The account will be handled by the Mumbai office of the agency. This will include the network's Hindi GEC (general entertainment channel) Zee TV and Hindi movie channel, Zee Cinema.

Though Amardeep Singh, co-founder and CEO, Interactive Avenues refused to comment on the development, an official from the agency has confirmed the news to afaqs!.

The agency will take care of all the social network and digital duties for the network.

Zee has recently launched an extensive digital campaign for its newly launched horror fiction show, Fear Files. Also, its flagship property, DID, has seen a lot of commotion on the social networking space.

A full service digital marketing agency, Interactive Avenues has offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. It was launched in 2006. The agency is funded by Sequoia Capital India, a venture capital firm whose investments include Applabs, First Source, Cafe Coffee Day, Global Logic, Indiatimes, Travelguru and Globally, Sequoia Capital has been an early investor in technology and internet companies such as Google, Yahoo, Apple, Oracle, Cisco, Paypal and YouTube.
