Random House India, the Indian arm of Random House Inc., has roped in Creativa India as its social media agency. No formal pitch was held for this account. The social media activities for the brand were being handled in-house.
As part of the new mandate, the agency will handle Random House India's social media as well as digital banners across various sites. It will also manage the English-language general trade book publisher's online promotion on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
Confirming the win to afaqs!, Dinesh Juneja, co-founder, Creativa India, tells afaqs!, "With the publishing industry booming in India, we have a great potential to do good work across social platforms."
For the record, Creativa India is a content generation firm specialising in social media marketing and creative advertising. It has been in existence for two years and has been associated with clients across verticals such as airlines, publishing, mobility, education and e-commerce portals.
The services provided by them include social media management, online reputation management, real-time video production and online media buying.
For the record, Creativa India recently won the social media duties of the Indian arm of international publishing group, Pan Macmillan.
