Vij, who has more than 18 years of experience, was vice-president and head, Proximity India (the CRM, digital and data arm of BBDO). He started his career in 1994 and has worked with several leading agencies, including Enterprise Nexus, Draftfcb Ulka, Ogilvy, Lowe Lintas, Rediffusion-Y&R and Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC).
He has worked with clients such as Airtel, General Motors, Aviva Life Insurance, DHL, J&J, P&G, PepsiCo, Visa, HP, Sony and Sony Ericsson, amongst others.
Das, who has more than 10 years of experience, started his career with Ab&m Communications New Delhi as senior copywriter in 2002. After working there for two years, he moved to Oxygen and later, to Tribal DDB and McCann New Delhi. He has worked on businesses such as TimesJobs, SimplyMarry, Magicbricks, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Volvo, Nescafe, Kitkat, ESPN-STAR, MTV and UNESCO.
Commenting on his new role, Das says, "This will be my second stint at McCann Worldgroup. It's been over five years since the last time I was at McCann Delhi and things have changed a lot. Prasoon and I have been in talks about building a strong digital presence for McCann for a while now, and given his vision of things to come, the challenge was very hard to resist.
