Interface Communications wins Parry account

Interface Communications (Draftfcb Ulka's second agency) has been awarded the creative duties for E.I.D. Parry, a part of the Murugappa Group. The agency's Chennai branch will handle this account.

For starters, the agency's mandate includes working on the upcoming communication for the brand's 225th anniversary campaign.

The incumbent on the business is JWT Chennai.

Interface Communications already handles the creative duties for the Murugappa Group's corporate account. The agency's Chennai branch had won the mandate around August, 2011.

The current win is the result of a pitch that was held in Chennai. The process saw the participation of the parent company's roster agencies.

In the past, R K Swamy BBDO has worked on brand Roca; Ogilvy has worked on Parryware; JWT has handled TI Cycles and Murugappa's corporate brand; Hakuhodo Percept has worked on BSA Motors (eScooter category); Rediffusion Y&R has handled the creative duties for Cholamandalam Insurance; and Draftfcb Ulka has worked on Cholamandalam Finance.

Popularly known as 'Parry's', E. I. D. Parry has been a part of the Murugappa Group since1981. The company has businesses in areas such as sugar and microalgal health supplements (from Parry Nutraceuticals) and bio products (from the bio products division).
