Amrutanjan appoints Vizeum for Fruitnik and Amrutanjan Care mandate

The company has awarded the media mandate for the planned new launches along with the recently launched Fruitnik. Till recently, the agency handled the media duties for Amrutanjan's flagship product, Yellow Balm.

Pain management brand Amrutanjan has renewed its association with Vizeum, a part of the Aegis Media Group, for its planned new launches. Till recently, Vizeum handled Yellow Balm, the flagship brand of the company.

The company has also awarded Vizeum the media mandate for Amrutanjan Care (specialised centre for pain management) and recently launched Fruitnik (company's foray into the beverages business through an acquisition).

In the recent past, the agency has handled the media duties for Amrutanjan's flagship product, Yellow Balm (from February, 2010 till July, 2012). In July, the company shifted the account to OMD, following a multi-agency pitch.

Earlier, the media mandate for Yellow Balm was with Media Direction, the specialist media services wing of the R K Swamy Media Group. Recently, Lowe Lintas Chennai was awarded the creative duties of Amrutanjan. Mudra South has worked on the creative duties for this account in the past.

In an official communiqué, K N Srikanta, vice-president, Amrutanjan, who heads marketing for the beverage division, says, "We have had a fantastic relationship with Vizeum. It has been instrumental in our launch strategy and will play a vital role in our growth strategy, too. We are looking forward to working with Vizeum."

Ananth Krishnan P, business head, Care, mentions that it is a win-win partnership for both the parties.

Confirming the win, S Yesudas, managing director, Indian subcontinent, Vizeum, says, "Amrutanjan is a very special client to Vizeum. It has been a long partnership and we intend to take the same to further heights."
