Spikes Asia 2012: Shortlists announced for 10 categories

Spikes Asia 2012 has announced shortlists for 10 out of 18 categories. The categories for which the shortlists are announced are Outdoor (with 33 sub-categories), Mobile (with four sub-categories), Public Relations (with 11 sub-categories), Print (with 15 sub-categories), Promo and Activation (with 12 sub-categories), Radio (with seven sub-categories), Media (with 14 sub-categories), Direct (with 11 sub-categories), Digital (with 16 sub-categories) and Design (with 13 sub-categories).

DDB Mudra India has won 11 shortlists, wherein five are in Outdoor and six in Media.

BBDO Mumbai has garnered 10 shortlists, which includes two in Outdoor, three in Media, one in Design, two in Public Relations and two shortlists in Print.

Leo Burnett Mumbai has 10 shortlists, with five shortlists in Outdoor, four in Print and one in Radio.

Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai has got nine shortlists, with four in Outdoor, one in Media, three in Print and one shortlist in the Promo and Activations category.

Apart from these, Cheil Worldwide India has achieved six shortlists, with one in Media, two in Direct, one in Public Relations and two shortlists in the Promo and Activations category.

GroupM Mumbai has five shortlists in the Media category, while McCann Worldgroup India has got three shortlists, all in the Outdoor category.

Among media agencies, MEC Mumbai has got two shortlists in the Media category. MediaCom Communications India has achieved two shortlists, while Jack in The Box has won one shortlist.

Also, in the Digital category Indian agencies such as BBH India Mumbai and Webchutney India have been shortlisted.

TBWA India has one shortlist in the Design category, while Out Of The Box has two shortlists .

Grey Worldwide India has two shortlists in the Print category.

The Public Relations category has shortlists from Fleishman Hillard, Bang Bang Films and Ketchum Sampark India.

Shortlists in the remaining eight categories will be announced on Tuesday, September 18.
