Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has initiated a creative pitch to empanel agencies on its creative roster. The oil exploration and production company is looking for creative agencies in Ahmedabad, and Mehsana too. It is known that the empanelment will be for a period of two years.
The scope of the work for the agency empanelled with ONGC includes creating ads for print and electronic media as well as managing the media planning and buying duties.
The spends on the media could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. It is known that the media mix would include both ATL and BTL activities.
Sources close to the development inform afaqs! that the invitations have been mailed by the ONGC authorities to certain select agencies a few days ago.
Apparently, ONGC wants to communicate to the people of India about its capabilities, safety measures, achievements overseas, new energy frontiers and sustainability related areas through a mass media campaign.
It may be recalled that in February this year, ONGC had held pitch presentations in Delhi.
At that point in time, a few prominent advertising agencies from Delhi were invited to make presentations.
