Himanshu Nagrecha joins DGM India as national sales head

Nagrecha has spent 11 years in media sales, of which six years have been in the digital space.

DGM India has roped in Himanshu Nagrecha as national sales head. He was earlier with Mediamind where he was the Vice President-Sales for India and MENA (Middle East and North Africa). A graduate from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Nagrecha will be responsible for sales of all products of the company.

Nagrecha says that his first priority will be to scale up dgMatix, the premium display advertising serving and tracking solution from DGM India: "Today, availability of inventory is not a problem but how we offer it to our customers is a big challenge."

Nagrecha has done about 11 years in media sales, of which about six years have been in the digital space. Before Mediamind, he was associated with NDTV Media, Yahoo! India, Hindustan Times and Tata Infomedia.

DGM India claims to work with over 15,000 websites across India and has delivered measurable results to over 300 well known Indian brands over the past five years on a pay-for-performance basis.

Anurag Gupta, managing director, DGM India, says, "Currently, DGM's business is at an interesting juncture, with our performance business scaling up and dgMatix getting a great response and gaining traction as well. Himanshu's association with DGM is the perfect impetus to our expansion plans."

DGM claims to be India's first performance marketing network that has been offering performance-based solutions to advertisers for over five years. In April 2012, Anurag Gupta, Managing Director, DGM India along with Smile Vun Group (SVG) concluded a management buyout of DGM India from Asia Digital Holdings PLC.
