Northpoint partners with Social Wavelength

Maharashtra-based management resource centre Northpoint Centre of Learning is all set to offer two new courses in Media Management and Digital Advertising to its students for the academic year 2013-14. It has joined hands with the digital media agency, Social Wavelength, to design these courses to brew a pool of qualified digital media professionals.

He adds that in keeping with the institution's model, Northpoint Centre of Learning will engage with leaders in the digital and social media industry to make all training relevant and effective through experiential learning.

Hareesh Tibrewala, joint CEO, Social Wavelength, says, "There is a huge shortage of well qualified digital media professionals across the country. We need better institutes for it, so we thought of sharing our knowledge and experience with the students."

Founded in 2009, Social Wavelength is a leading digital media agency of the country. It won the 'Red Herring's Asia Top 100' recognition in 2011 that honours the most promising private technology venture across Asia.

The agency offers its clients a variety of services across the social media platform that helps them reach their target audiences.

Tibrewala adds that though there is no specific tenure to this partnership, Social Wavelength aims to create value for the industry and the students.

Northpoint Centre for Learning was established by Lintas Employees' Welfare Trust, the former Indian shareholders of Lintas India.
