2013 begins well for Omnicom Media Group
In only a month, the Omnicom Media Group claims to be sitting on new business worth Rs 60-65 crore.
Since the beginning of the year, media agency Omnicom Media Group (OMG) - parent of DDB Mudra Media and OMD - has bagged business worth a claimed Rs 60-65 crore. The media agency has added four new mandates to its kitty, including TTK Healthcare Consumer Division, Kohinoor Specialty Foods India, VE Commercial Vehicles and Quickheal Technologies.
Shriyan refused to divulge details on the individual size of the accounts.
The Quickheal Technology account will be handled by the Mumbai office of the agency. The North India office will take care of Kohinoor Specialty Foods India and the VE Commercial Vehicles account; while the South India office will handle TTK Healthcare Consumer Division.
Omnicom Media Group has bagged some of these accounts on the back of agency pitches and others on the credibility of its earlier work.
TTK Healthcare Consumer Division is a part of the parent company, TTK Healthcare that deals in products related to personal care, baby care, pharmaceuticals, animal care, heart valves and others. The company has three strategic business units - pharmaceuticals, consumer products and biomedical devices.
Kohinoor Specialty Foods India offers an extensive range that caters to all kinds of consumers in different parts of the world - from Basmati rice, ready to eat products, cook-in sauces and cooking pastes to spices, seasonings and frozen food. Apart from India, it has presences in USA, the UK, Dubai, Canada, Japan, Australia, Singapore and other European countries.
VE Commercial Vehicles is a joint venture between the Volvo Group (Volvo) and Eicher Motors.
