Creativeland Asia forays into Delhi

The agency's Delhi office bags the creative duties of HomeShop18.

Creativeland Asia has expanded its reach to the Capital by setting up its New Delhi office. The agency had been planning this for quite some time. Its new office will be located in Gurgaon.

The agency is in the process of structuring its operations and has not reached a final decision on who will head the Delhi office. Although the office has a few senior members, Creativeland Asia is on the lookout for people.

Sajan Raj Kurup, founder and creative chairman, Creativeland Asia, says, "Now, we are ready to take the first step and start our Delhi office. It is a great time for Creativeland Asia to partner with companies in Delhi and NCR region because of the faith and appreciation we have garnered in the industry. Delhi holds great potential for great creative work due to the presence of large and new brand owners, disciplined creative talent and, most importantly, the eagerness we have seen to embrace our culture and approach to work."

On how the agency plans to capture the Delhi businesses, Kurup says it plans to operate in true Creativeland Asia style - cautiously and selectively, with brands that value and respect creativity. "We are in no hurry to grow business at the expense of our culture. And, we are always looking for partners who can grow our culture," he adds.

Creativeland Asia Delhi has secured its first client in HomeShop18. The agency will handle the creative duties of the online shopping store. The creative mandate will entail integrated strategy for the brand, including brand building across digital, print, outdoor and television platforms.

Sundeep Malhotra, founder and CEO, HomeShop18, says, "We like the work done by Creativeland Asia and its approach to brand building. And, we found synergy in our mutual thinking. We have in Creativeland Asia brand partners, who would be able to help take our brand development plans forward." Kurup adds that online retail is an exciting category and he has been waiting for the agency to work on this category.
