Vdopia to monetise official ICC website during Champions Trophy 2013

The official ICC website includes all updates and news about fixtures, team information, rankings, exclusive videos, alive match centre, photos and various other fan engagement activations and tools.

Mobile and online video advertising provider, Vdopia, has partnered the International Cricket Council to monetise and reach out to advertisers for the official website www.icc-cricket.com during the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

This is the official ICC website for all updates and news on the international cricket arena which includes news, fixtures, team information, rankings, exclusive videos, alive match centre, photos and various other fan engagement activations and tools. The ICC Champions Trophy is one of the major global cricket events organised by the International Cricket Council.

The ICC Champions Trophy is a cricketing event participated by top eight nations in the ICC ODI rankings. The event, formerly known as the ICC Knockout, has been held six times to date and the 2013 edition will be staged in England and Wales on June 6-23 at Cardiff, The Oval and Edgbaston.

Speaking about the development, Shivam Srivastava, director, business development, APAC, Vdopia, says, "Champions Trophy is a key event for advertisers who want to be associated with cricket. It undertakes the responsibility of providing a world class environment for international cricket and delivering 'major' events across three formats, providing targeted support to members and promoting the global game.
