MTNL appoints creative and media agencies

Span, Airads, Crayons and Goldmine Advertising have been empanelled in MTNL's roster.

After a long review process, MTNL has appointed Span, Airads, Crayons and Goldmine Advertising in its roster of empanelled agencies to handle its creative and media mandates. The agencies were chosen after a multi-agency pitch process, which began early 2012.

Some of the other agencies that attended the pitch were Percept, Concept and Graphic Advertising, according to sources close to the development.

MTNL, a state-owned tele-communications service provider, intends to strengthen its presence in the country. Considering the number of telecom players in the sector, it will be a task for the agencies to increase and maintain the brand equity, says one of the agencies that made it to the roster.
