JWT's Nutan Sooda moves on

Nutan Sooda, executive business director, client servicing, JWT Delhi, has quit the agency. She joined JWT in August 2011 to head the Airtel business. Her next move is unknown at the moment.

Sooda has always been an account management professional. She specialises in the telecom category and has under her belt around 17 years of experience. Sooda began her career at Rediffusion-Y&R Delhi in 1997. At that time, Sandeep Goyal was leading the agency's Delhi office.

After about two years, Sooda moved to Leo Burnett Delhi. Here, she worked very closely on the Coca-Cola business. A year later, she moved to Leo Burnett's sister concern, Orchard Advertising in Bengaluru. In 2005, she moved to Leo Burnett Mumbai.

After spending eight and a half years in the Leo Burnett system, across geographies (Leo Burnett Delhi, Orchard Advertising Bengaluru, then Leo Burnett Mumbai), Sooda moved to Bates CHI & Partners (then Bates 141) in December 2007. At Bates, she led the Virgin Mobile account since its inception. After spending four years at Bates, Sooda moved to JWT, where she spent around two years.
