Publicitas to handle FT's media sales in Southeast Asia

The media services company will handle all media sales of the financial newspaper including print, digital and events across Southeast Asia.

Publicitas, the media services company, has entered into a contract with Financial Times (FT) according to which the former will service the media sales of the financial newspaper in Southeast Asia starting next month (September).

As per the contract, key ad sales staff from the Financial Times, Singapore, Southeast Asia team will join Publicitas to establish a team of experts who will sell FT products exclusively. With this move, Publicitas will have its presence in new markets including Vietnam and Myanmar, where FT already has its presence.

In an official communiqué, Angela Mackay, managing director, Asia Pacific, says, "FT has a thriving business across Southeast Asia. Nonetheless, we continually seek fresh ways to extend our reach. We believe this new arrangement with Publicitas will enhance our business substantially."
