Draftfcb Ulka names Sudarshan Sudevan as creative head, digital

Sudevan was the creative director of interactive agency Isobar.

Draftfcb Ulka Interactive, the digital arm of Draftfcb Ulka, has appointed Sudarshan Sudevan as creative head, digital. 'Sudi', as he is fondly known in the industry, started his career as a cartoonist before venturing into the digital space.

Earlier, he was creative director at interactive agency Isobar. He has also been associated with firms like Hungama and BCWebwise in his career spanning 13 years.

"I was in awe of M G Parameswaran (Ambi) and K S Chakravarthy (Chax), and their affinity to explore more; that made me want to try this opportunity. I hope to add my experience and expertise to this agency, and endeavour to make Draftfcb Ulka one of the forerunners in the digital space in India," comments Sudevan.

In the last six months, the agency has seen a couple of appointments in senior leadership roles. In February 2013, with 16 years of experience behind him, Sachin Das Burma joined the Delhi office of Draftfcb Ulka as group creative director. Meanwhile, in January 2013, Ajay Verma, founder and managing partner, ShareOnAir Media, had joined Draftfcb Ulka as chief growth officer.

Draftfcb Ulka is a member of the Draftfcb Ulka Group with over 200 clients and 850 professionals working across eight offices in seven cities of India. The group offers services such as advertising, media, digital, direct, analytics, brand consulting and activation/brand experience.
