Spikes Asia 2013 announces jury

Six Indian jury members are part of this year's jury panel comprising a total of 78 members.

The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity has announced its jury panel for the 2013 edition of the award. Out of the 78 members chosen this year for the jury line-up across 10 categories, six are Indian. The awards function, which is considered a premier creative festival of the Asia Pacific region, will be held in Singapore during September 15-17.

Pratap Bose, chief operating officer, DDB Mudra Group, will be a part of the Direct & Promotional Activation category. The jury panel consisting of eight people will be presided by Jose Miguel Sokoloff, chairman, Lowe SSP3, president, creative council, Lowe Worldwide and Lowe SSP3, Global.

Ajit Varghese, managing director, Maxus, is the jury member of the Media category, which has Mike Cooper, worldwide chief executive officer, PHD Global, as the jury president.

In the Creative Effectiveness category, Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan, head of communications, South Asia region, Nestle, has been chosen as a jury panellist. Jarek Ziebinski, president, Leo Burnett Asia Pacific, has been nominated as the jury president.

Sanjiv Sharma, chairman, Optimystix Entertainment, is one of the eight jury members for the Branded Content & Entertainment category, with Anthony Freedman, group chief executive officer, Host, Australia, presiding over the jury.

The Film, Print, Outdoor & Radio category jury, which is headed by Tham Khai Meng, worldwide chief creative officer & chairman, worldwide creative council, Ogilvy & Mather, Global, will have Josy Paul, chief creative officer and chairman, BBDO India.

Sudhir Sharma, creative chairman and CEO, Indi Design, is the Indian representative in the Design category jury, which is led by Derek Lockwood, worldwide director of design, Saatchi & Saatchi, New Zealand.

There is no Indian representation in Integrated; Digital and Mobile; Craft and PR categories.
