Neo Sports' Prasana Krishnan moves on to head Sony Six

Krishnan is the first business head of Multi Screen Media's sports channel launched in April, 2012. So far, the channel was functioning under the direct supervision of N P Singh.

Prasana Krishnan, erstwhile COO of Neo Sports, has moved on from the company to join Sony Six as business head.

Krishnan is the first business head of Multi Screen Media's Sports channel launched in April, 2012. So far, the channel was functioning under the direct supervision of N P Singh, COO, MSM.

Singh says, "We are delighted to have Prasana join the team at this important juncture and we are certain that his experience and understanding of the business and our audience will help us achieve our objective of becoming the leading player in the genre. We are optimistic that Prasana's appointment will further strengthen and grow Six's position in what can be called one of the most competitive broadcasting markets in the world. We look forward to a long and fruitful working association with him."

Talking about his new role, Krishnan adds, "I am delighted to have become a part of this prestigious group. I look forward to take up this challenging role and work towards ensuring that the channel grows consistently to the leadership position in this space."

Krishnan brings in more than 17 years of experience in media and consulting sectors. Before joining Neo Sports, he has also been associated with Nimbus Media, The Times of India Group and Arthur Andersen.

Sony Six is known to exclusively broadcast international sporting properties like The Pepsi IPL, UEFA EURO 2016, Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2016, Qualifiers for 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup, Scottish Professional Football League, The NBA, TNA and The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
