Celkon mobile phone solutions and wireless technologies has assigned its digital marketing duties to FoxyMoron, a digital media agency. The Delhi branch of the agency will handle the account.
This includes managing the brand's presence on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
Earlier, Celkon has sponsored sports tournaments as a part of its marketing activities.
On the decision of appointing FoxyMoron as its digital agency, Pradeep Yerraguntla, head, digital management, Celkon, says, "At the core of our marketing strategies is the need for a detailed strategic and creative alliance to take Celkon Mobiles, the brand, forward to the highest level."
Celkon is a Hyderabad-based company that offers an array of mobile handsets in the range of Rs 1,000-20,000. It has sold over 1 million units. The brand's digital activity on Facebook started in 2010.
Some of the clients handled by FoxyMoron are L'Oreal India Group (Maybelline New York, Garnier, L'Oreal Paris, Kerastase), AXN India, McVitie's India, Castrol India, Rajasthan Royals, SAB Miller (Foster's, Miller High Life, Knock Out), WWM Group (Part of the Times of India Group and includes Femina, BBC Good Homes) and FCUK, among others.
