The Ad Club (earlier known as Ad Club Bombay) will soon issue entry forms for its creative awards - Effie Awards 2013 - and it has made some changes in the award categories, following inputs received from industry professionals.
Under the category Consumer Products, the sub categories this time are Beverages/Drink, Confectionary and Food, Cosmetics & Toiletries and Others. While the last two are same as last year, the first two have been split this time.
Under the Services category, a Media and Entertainment sub category is newly added, along with the earlier ones such as Telecom and Related Products, Financial Services and Others.
The new categories to be introduced this season are Experiential Marketing and Effie for Good. Meanwhile, from Corporate Advertising, the sub category Social Cause is removed and the current nomenclature will be Corporate Advertising/Corporate Reputation.
The first and second rounds of judging will take place on December 13-14 in Mumbai, and the final round will take place on January 7 in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, the first round of judging in Delhi will take place on December 20, and the final one will be held on December 21.
