DNA ropes in Malcolm Mistry as CEO

Mistry joins DNA with an experience of more than two decades in the print media industry.

Maharashtra-based English daily DNA has roped in Malcolm Mistry as CEO. He has more than two decades of experience in the print industry and has worked across Indian Express and India Today Group.

Mistry says, "DNA has strong brand equity. I am excited with the challenge of raising the bar and creating a more vibrant 'print plus' product with greater consumer traction and increased shareholder value."

Mistry had quit the India Today Group in 2012 and began his own entrepreneurial venture named Ushta Te HR Consultancy Services to provide recruitment solutions across key verticals like media, advertising and luxury.

Mistry spent more than 11 years at India Today and was working as publishing director, India Today Group before he left. He was responsible for some of the well-known magazines such as India Today and all its language publications, Business Today and Readers Digest, amongst others.

Mistry was also the chief architect of the sales synergy process and created a unified sales team across the various brands. As entrepreneur at Ushta Te HR Consultancy Services, he worked to provide recruitment solutions across key verticals like media, advertising and luxury.
