Prashant Mehta quits Komli Media as CEO

Komli's founder and chairman Amar Goel is taking over as CEO. Mehta will remain an advisor until early next year.

Prashant Mehta, CEO, Komli Media, has put in his papers at the company. Following Mehta's exit, Amar Goel, Komli's founder and chairman, will take over as CEO. As per a note sent by Komli, Mehta has left the company for personal and family reasons.

Mehta will, however, remain as an advisor until early next year to help with the transition and leverage the myriad of relationships that Komli has in the new markets.

Mehta was appointed as chief operating officer of Komli Media in December 2008, and was responsible for sales, marketing, business development and operations. In 2011, he was promoted as CEO of Komli Media and was also made a member of the board of directors.

Mehta joined Komli when it was a 25-member team and now, he has expanded the company from India to across many markets in Asia, while building a great team.

Komli Media is a digital media and technology company that offers solutions across display, mobile, video, social, search and data for advertisers, agencies and publishers.

Headquartered in Mumbai, the company has over 400 employees across 18 offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, West Asia, Hong Kong and North America. In October this year, it raised $30million in its Series E funding led by Peepul Capital, besides existing investors Norwest Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
