The Real Media People (TRMP) has bagged the ad sales and marketing duties of Hindi real estate channel, Spin TV (Spin here stands for Search Property INtelligently).
Launched a year ago on February 18, 2013 by former media executive Nilesh Thakkar, TRMP claims to be a bulk buyer with top 10 builders in Mumbai. The consulting agency is providing full fledged marketing solutions to real estate players and acts as a bridge between the advertising agencies and the real estate stakeholders. It facilitates print, outdoor campaigns and television marketing using spots, non FCTs, paid features and other means.
In an earlier interview with afaqs!, Thakkar had mentioned that the real estate sector is still not fully explored by national and regional news channels.
"We took a calculated risk to become entrepreneur with 30 happy customers who gained earlier with us in real estate, and we launched 'The Real Media People' along with a dormant partner (partner in investment liabilities and profit)," says Thakkar.
TRMP also lobbies with investors and finds stakeholders for projects of its clients. It has collaborated with several investor lobbies to help real estate players find funds for various projects.
"We targeted top CEOs, business heads of media agencies and FMCG advertisers to offer them personalised services," Thakkar says. "We did a volume of Rs 94 crore in last one year. Our plan is to make this Rs 150 crore in this year," he adds.
TRMP has been working with top level companies and owners of top builders like Rustomjee, Sheth, Ekta, Bhoomi, Laxmi, Home Town and Kalpataru.First Published : September 25, 2014 04:04 PM
