Mumbai-based digital agency Eccentric Engine has won the digital communication mandate for Pest Control India (PCI), the first and largest pest management company in India.

Eccentric Engine shall be responsible for managing PCI's presence across social networks. With the advent of digital and social media, it is increasingly necessary for PCI to have a strong online presence in order to connect to the younger audience.

Joshua Rao, executive director, PCI, says, "We chose Eccentric Engine because we believe that Eccentric Engine's social media strategy is unique and fits very well with PCI's online objectives. They are innovative, dedicated and creative. They understand our brand and we expect a refreshed revival of PCI's online presence."

Varun Shah, co-founder, Eccentric Engine, states, "PCI is synonymous with pest management and enjoys massive trust. We look forward to reinforcing the same by means of superior content, to enable PCI make a mark on digital."

Eccentric Engine was launched in 2012, when ex-Zed Digital hand Varun Shah, with partners Nitant Soni and Gaurav Rane, started the agency.
