Infectious bags creative duties of LED lighting brand Elkoha

Infectious has bagged the creative mandate of Tamura Elcomponics Technologies, an Indo-Japanese joint venture between Elcomponics India and Tamura Group, Japan. The agency will handle Elkoha, the LED lighting brand of the company.

Speaking about the win, Ramanuj Shastry, co-founder and director, Infectious says, "LED is on it's way to becoming the lighting of the future. It's our dream to make Elkoha a major force in the Indian lighting ecosystem and we shall spare no effort to do so." Adds Nisha Singhania, co-founder and director, Infectious, "The LED category is at a very nascent stage in India with low awareness and penetration. Elkoha are bringing in best in quality and international standard LED lights to India. We look forward to partnering them in making India energy efficient."

Shivendra Dwivedi, director, Tamura Elcomponics Technology wants Elkoha to become a preferred name in the LED lighting space. "We needed people who could look at this category as a clean slate and we feel that Infectious led by Ramanuj and Nisha will be able to give articulation to our business vision," he notes.

Elcomponics Group is a component manufacturer for appliances, electronics and power backup industry. Technology partner Koha (a subsidiary of Tamura Japan) develops optoelectronic products incorporating LEDs. Infectious is an independent agency, started by Ramanuj Shastry and Nisha Singhania. Some of its clients are HCL, DNA, Camlin, Pied Piper and Braces & Smiles.
