The channel has partnered with restaurants, bars, youth hangouts and spa chains across the country with the objective of spreading happiness beyond television.

Comedy Central, the English Entertainment channel from Viacom18 stable has taken its 'laugh it off' philosophy one step ahead. It has launched its latest endeavour, the LOL Club, with the objective of spreading happiness beyond television. With this, Comedy Central aims to make India smile a little more through a series of partnerships that will add to the happiness quotient in users' lives.

The LOL Club gives reasons for people to be happy by offering special discounts at India's leading restaurants, bars, youth hangout spots and spa chains across the country. Fans can register for free on Comedy Central's Facebook page, get a card and join the LOL Club to avail the privileges.

Ferzad Palia, EVP and business head, English Entertainment, Viacom 18 says, "We introduced the card after mapping the different lifestyle demands of our fans and are hopeful of adding some more smiles to their lives via the various offers and discounts on it." Comedy Central will be promoting the LOL Club on Comedy Central as well as Vh1, along with radio spots and promotions in their partner locations as well. The channel also has plans to add more dimension to the LOL Club by giving away tickets for gigs, comedy shows and other activities across cities.

Launched in 2012, Comedy Central's popular shows include Anger Management, Episodes, Saturday Night Live, Whitney, The Office, Seinfeld, Frasier, That 70s Show, South Park and Suits. India's first 24-hour channel dedicated to comedy in English, is available in over 27 million households across the country over analog, digital cable & DTH.
