Scarecrow bags Godfather Beer account

Scarecrow Communications will handle the creative duties of the beer brand, which is owned by Devans Modern Breweries.

Scarecrow Communications has bagged the creative duties for Godfather Beer. A spokesperson from Devans Modern Breweries that owns the brand has confirmed the news. The account size could not be ascertained at this point.

Devans Modern Breweries was established in 1961 by Dewan Gian Chand. The company started brewing beer at its brewery at Jammu in 1967, and set up a state-of- the-art brewery at Kotputli, Rajasthan, which was commissioned in 2006 and from where it manufactures international quality beers, both in bottles and cans.

The company has a presence in over 20 states in India through its brands, Godfather Super Strong Beer and Godfather Lager Beer. It is also exporting to many eastern, middle eastern and South Asian countries. The company also produces malt spirits, both fresh and matured, which it sells to major liquor groups all over the country.

Scarecrow Communications has its offices in Mumbai and Delhi, and works with brands across categories such as cosmetics, finance, media, FMCG, real estate (ITC, Emami, &Pictures (Zee), Viacom, Reliance Mutual Fund, Only Vimal and many more).
