RK Arora joins News Nation Network as CEO
He recently ended his two year-long stint as group CEO of ITV Network.
RK Arora, erstwhile group CEO, Information Television Network (ITV Network), will join News Nation Network as chief executive officer.
He will report to the network's board.
Recall that he recently Arora ended his two year-long stint at ITV Network, where he managed six news channels, including NewsX (English), India News (Hindi) and four regional news channels in the Hindi heartland.
About Arora's appointment, Abhay Oswal, chairman, News Nation Network, says in a press statement, "His illustrious track record makes him an ideal choice to lead News Nation Network. He brings a unique combination of astute business acumen and in-depth industry knowledge."
Arora says, "I am delighted to be joining News Nation Network as it moves into the next exciting phase of growth and development." Complimenting News Nation Network's programming, he adds that the company is poised for dramatic growth and expansion and that he is "thrilled to be a part of its success."
Arora has 24 years of industry experience. Prior to his stint at ITV Network, he was chief executive officer at BAG Network (News 24, E24 and Darshan 24). He was also associated with India TV since its inception.
