Affle makes two senior appointments

The company has appointed Aman Grover as director - Global Delivery and Alvin Ling as director - Product Strategy.

Affle, a Mobile Apps and Ad Service (MAAS) company, has made two senior appointments. Aman Grover has been appointed as director - Global Delivery. Based in Noida, Grover will work towards setting up new strategies and processes to streamline the delivery and operations on the Affle Apps platform.

The company has also appointed Alvin Ling as director - Product Strategy. He will be responsible for driving product direction for the Affle Ads platform, by bringing in new advancements on its platform.

Commenting on the appointments, Anuj Khanna Sohum, founder, CEO and chairman, Affle, says, "We are happy to welcome Alvin and Aman on board to strengthen our product leadership and delivery capabilities. In a fast evolving mobile landscape, our MAAS platform is maturing by the day to offer a cloud-based enterprise grade end-to-end mobile platform. With newer members on board, we would hope to drive this to newer heights by making it better leverage user intelligence and become more ROI & customer centric."

On his appointment, Grover says, "It's good to be back to spearhead delivery for Affle AppStudioz. The world of mobile apps is changing daily, and we need to make sure that we continue to deliver newer path-breaking innovations with structured processes and high ROI for our customers."

Ling adds, "I am excited to join Affle and drive the product direction of its MAAS platform. The ad technology industry is going through a significant shift with the move towards end-to-end platforms and unified data. I feel that Affle's platform is best positioned to offer this solution to marketers, and I'm thus really looking forward to being here."

Grover joins Affle with over 12 years of experience in Delivery & Product Management in companies such as Genpact, BirlaSoft, Xerox and OSSCube.

Ling, meanwhile, brings in over 15 years of experience, the last five of which were at Smaato. There, he ran the Platform Ad Operations in APAC and later moved to drive the Product Strategy. Prior to Smaato, he handled Engineering and Product Management for Citigroup, Barclays & The Bank of New York.
