Seventynine has appointed Amit Kopargaonkar as VP - business development and sales. He will be based in Sydney.

Kopargaonkar was previously working as country manager at Buzz City India. Prior to joining Buzz City in 2012, he was with Idea Cellular for five years.

Seventynine is one of the largest technology-focussed Ad Networks in India and quickly expanded in South East Asia too, before setting itself up for the longer run in the entire APAC region.

With its proprietary In-App Video Platform, appjacket, Seventynine aims to drive the next wave of app monetisation via Video, Rich Media, and a suite of high-impact interstitial properties, all via one single, lightweight SDK.

According to the company, with its suite of detailed targeting options, including detailed behavioural targeting options, Seventynine is trying to be the preferred partner for the largest brand advertisers in the region.

Chirag Shah, co-founder at Seventynine, says, "With Amit we have got a well-connected, smart resource who will be helping us to drive our business aggressively. We are looking at becoming the preferred partner for large advertisers, while giving a genuinely good monetisation alternative to the most successful publishers."

Deven Dharamdasani, co-founder at Seventynine, adds, "With critical partnerships with global exchanges, as well as preferred reseller status with a large number of premium games and new apps, we have the vision to alter the market dynamics. Our technology is path-breaking and our business is going to complement that."
