The app will help marketers track their ads through their mobile devices.
Facebook has announced that it has reached more than two million active advertisers, up from 1.5 million, roughly six months ago. The social networking platform has also launched the 'Ads Manager App' in a bid to help businesses manage their ad campaigns on-the-go, through their mobile devices.
According to the company, the Ads Manager mobile site is now used by more than 800,000 advertisers each month.
The new app will monitor current ads and create new ones, giving marketers more power to manage ads from anywhere. The app will let marketers create ads, track ad performances, edit existing ads, budgets and schedules. It will also receive push notifications.
Currently the Ads Manager app for iOS is available in the US and will be available worldwide in the next few weeks. The Android version of the app is expected to be launched later this year.
