GEC Watch: Colors moves back to No.2 in week 8
Zee TV and Life OK lose numbers as other top Hindi GECs gain.
Colors, Viacom18's flagship Hindi GEC, has moved a step higher on the Hindi GEC ladder. The channel, in week 8 of TAM, grossed 444112 GVTs, as compared to 434457 GVTs in the previous week.
Zee TV settled at No. 3 with 417812 GVTs, as compared to last week's 447944 GVTs.
The second GECs from Star India and Multi Screen Media, namely Life OK and Sab TV, concluded the week with 315953 GVTs (last week 329870) and 286153 GVTs (last week 285358), respectively.
The flagship channel of MSM, Sony Entertainment Television, follows with 253544 GVTs. The channel had registered 253193 GVTs in the last week.
The free-to-air channels from Zee Network, Viacom18 and Star India – Zee Anmol, Star Utsav and Rishtey – ended the week with 102097 GVTs (last week 92916), 92003 GVTs (last week 92621) and 55847 GVTs (last week 53522), respectively.
Next in the ranking is Reliance Broadcast Network's flagship channel, Big Magic, with 46761 GVTs, as opposed to 46050 GVTs in week 7 of TAM.
Zindagi recorded 21843 GVTs (last week 17417), Sony Pal grossed 38861 GVTs (last week 24613), Sahara One recorded 9775 GVTs (last week 8643 GVTs) and Epic clocked 7182 GVTs (last week 8910) in the week ended February 21.
